Machinegun Wobbler

Unconventional anti-tank warfare is not that uncommon, it seems. A brave man that climbs on top of a tank can do some serious damage.

Brief and specific description of heroism or achievements: In battles near Dvinsk, he leapt up on an enemy tank, and, grasping the machinegun barrel with his hand, began to wobble it up and down, disrupting the tank's ability to shoot. With this courageous act, he showed exemplary heroism. As a scout, he blew up a German tank, killed 20 motorcyclists, and captured 3 soldiers.

He is worthy of the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.
